HRANA News Agency – Ali Asghar Gharavi, author of the banned newspaper “Bahar” was sent to leave for a week.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Ali Asghar Gharavi, political prisoner in Evin prison, on Tuesday, 18th November, was sent to leave for one week on a bail of 100 million Tomans.
On 5th January last year, Gharavi was arrested at the same time with “Bahar” director on charge of publishing articles contrary to Islamic Criteria, Spreading rumors and lies and publishing articles against the constitution, and at Branch 76 of the Tehran Penal Court was convicted by the Press Jury and was not considered as entitled to a rebate.
Ali Asghar Gharavi’s sentence of six months imprisonment was approved by Branch 32 of the Supreme Court.
