HRANA News Agency – In a new wave of arresting Arab citizens from Ahwaz, five others were arrested by security agencies. These individuals whose number reached to more than 15 people, are all accused of participation in protests against various issues, including discrimination in employment, conflict in the village of Jalizi, pumping away Karoon’s water and the drying of wetlands and rivers.

At Least 10 Arab Activists Arrested in Ahvaz
HRANA News Agency – In the wake of the arrest of Arab citizens from Ahwaz, five others were arrested by security agencies. Kavan Mahmoudian and Na’im Ahmadpour Transferred to Sanandaj Prison
HRANA News Agency – Kavan Mahmoudian who had been arrested by Kamiaran Intelligence Office earlier on October 10, was transferred to Sanandaj Prison after being detained in a solitary confinement for two months, while another prisoner named Na’im Ahmadpour who had been arrested for unknown reasons by the Intelligence Office was also transferred to Sanandaj Prison after 20 days of detention at the Intelligence Office detention center.
According to the Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Kawan Mahmoudian, a farmer from Tangisar village, who had been arrested by Kamyaran Intelligence Office on October 10, was transferred to Sanandaj Prison after two months of being detained in solitary confinement. Fahimeh Isma’ili Released after Serving 12 Years
HRANA News Agency – Fahimeh Isma’ili, an Arab political activist, was released from jail after being imprisoned for 12 years. The husband of this political prisoner who was arrested at the same time was executed on charge of Moharebeh in 2006.

Two Death Row Arab Political Prisoners Exiled to Isfahan Prison
HRANA News Agency – Two death row Arab political prisoners from Ahwaz were exiled to Isfahan Prison from the Ahwaz intelligence Detention Center.

A Report on the Status of 9 Political Prisoners from Shush
HRANA News Agency – Families of two death row prisoners from Ahwaz in the case of “Safi Abad in Dezful incident” called on all human rights organizations to be their children’s voice in the international community. They say “our children are innocent and the accusations attributed to them are not correct.”
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Qasem Beyt Abdullah and Abdullah Abdullahi (Karmalachab) from Shush, along with seven other defendants were tried on charges of moharebeh and communicating with foreign groups as well as propaganda against the regime in August 2017.
