HRANA News Agency – Ali Kazemi, a prisoner who had been sentenced to death at the age of 15 when he was charged with murder, was executed in Bushehr Prison, at noon on December 31. It is said that the prisoner was alive for an hour after the verdict was executed and he eventually died in the hospital.

Supreme Court Rejected Marjan Davari’s Death Sentence

HRANA News Agency – Branch 47 of the Supreme Court rejected the death sentence of Marjan Davari, 50-year-old translator and scholar in Shahr Ray women’s prison, who had been sentenced to death on charge of corruption in 2017. One of the charges against Mrs. Davari is membership in Eckankar. It is said that the death sentence of Karim Zarger has been confirmed by the judicial authorities.

At Least 5 Prisoners Executed in Rajai Shahr Prison of Karaj

HRANA News Agency – A group of prisoners were executed in Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj on December 20, 2017. HRANA had estimated their number to be at least four inmates in the previous reports, however, after more investigation, it was revealed that in addition to the previous four prisoners, at least one other prisoner was executed at the same time and place.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), at least five prisoners were executed in Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj.
