HRANA News Agency – In this footage, two prisoners are wrestling with each other, one of them was executed two years ago, and the other one was hanged in Ghezelhesar prison a few days ago. This footage shows their hope for a survival.

A Former Police Officer Scheduled to Be Executed Tomorrow

HRANA News Agency – Reza Sabzevari, 32, from Neyshabur, former Police officer is going to be executed tomorrow morning in Mashhad. His family has been told to go to the prison for the last visit. Mr. Sabzevari is married and has two 10-and-2-year old children.

HRANA News Agency – The execution sentence of Mehdi Pak Goftar from Ilam who was convicted for drug offenses in the central prison of Ilam has been postponed. His old parents has had sit-in outside the Head of the Judiciary’s Office and insisted on the innocence of their son.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), the death penalty for Mehdi Pak Goftar on charges related to drug offenses was supposed to be done on Wednesday July 13 in the central prison of Ilam but has been postponed for unknown reasons. At Least 6 Prisoners Executed in Rajai Shahr Prison

HRANA News Agency – At least six prisoners were executed on July 11, in Rajai Shahr prison mainly on charge of murder. The prisoners had been transferred to solitary confinements along with 5 to 7 other prisoners, on Sunday. 5 of the prisoners were returned to their wards and their sentences were not carried out after getting the consent or deadline to provide the blood money.

A Prisoner Scheduled to Be Executed Within 3 Days

HRANA News Agency – Mehdi Pakgoftar, from Ilam is scheduled to be executed on drug related charges within 3 days. His elderly parents have sit in front of the Head of Judiciary’s Office since 2 months ago and insist on their son’s innocence. They say the Supreme Leader’s representative has also asked the authorities to pardon him but it was rejected and he will be executed on Wednesday.

4 Arab Activists Sentenced to Long-Term Imprisonments

HRANA News Agency – Ahwaz Revolutionary Court sentenced four defendants of the so-called “Hamidieh Case” to long term in prison and three other defendants to death. The sentences were upheld by the appeals court. According to informed sources defendants were between 20 and 25 years old when they were arrested.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), in 2015, there was an attack on police soldiers’ tent in Gombohe of Hamidieh city inspection by some people on “a motorcycle”. Destruction of a Park in Piranshahr Caused Residents’ Protest

HRANA News Agency – Green Space of “Farhang Park” in the city of Piranshahr of Western Azerbaijan province in the wake of disputed claims of ownership of land was demolished on Wednesday, May 25, 2016. Following this action the residents protested. So far, authorities have not given any explanation in this regard and it was supposed that citizens would continue their protest on the next days.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), the green space of “Farhang Park” was demolished due to the failure of the city council of Piranshahr and lack of satisfaction of the landowner.
