HRANA News Agency – Eisa Saharkhiz, imprisoned journalist was transferred to ward 8 of Evin prison. This critical journalist had been already transferred to quarantine of Evin prison from ward 2-A and broken his hunger strike.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), the first trial of Mr. Saharkhiz was held in the 28th branch of the revolutionary court headed by Judge Moghayeseh on March 5, and the investigation has been postponed to next hearing by his request of respite. Mohammad Mehdi Sajedifar Returned to Evin Prison
HRANA News Agency – Mohammad Mehdi Sajedifar returned to Evin Prison at the end of his furlough. This PhD graduate of genetic after 5 years of imprisonment on 24th February left ward 8 of Evin Prison on a furlough.

A Report on Ali Asghar Mahmoudian’s Situation in Semnan Prison
HRANA News Agency – The physical condition of “Ali Asghar Mahmoudian”, political prisoner in Semnan prison, is reported to be critical. A person close to Mr. Mahmoudian told HRANA’s reporter that, the prisoner’s legs were at risk of paralysis and inability, and despite the lack of treatment inside the prison, authorities have refused to send him on medical furlough.

Mohammad Sadiq Kaboudvand in Critical Health Condition in Evin Prison
HRANA News Agency – Mohammad Sadiq Kaboudvand, imprisoned journalist and human rights activist in Ward 350 of Evin prison, is reported to be in critical health condition. Despite the lack of adequate medical facilities at the prison the prison authorities refused to send him to the hospital.

Hossein Ronaghi’s Family Asks the Authorities to Address his Health Problems
HRANA News Agency – Hossein Ronaghi’s family would again submit the request of the inability of tolerating punishment of this prisoner in Tehran prosecution office. Angina, kidney problems, swelling of the face, stomach bleeding, blood and eye infections, lung problems and respiratory problems, are the basis that the Ronaghi family has requested the issuance of the certificate of inability of tolerating punishment.

Ali Moezzi Deprived of Proper Medical Treatment in Evin Prison
HRANA News Agency – Ali Moezzi, political prisoner of ward number 8 of Evin prison who is suffering from bladder cancer, prostate and kidney problems, is facing rejection of medical furlough requests or transfer to the hospital by prison authorities, after serving more than 4 years of his sentence.

Saeed Hoseinzadeh in Critical Condition on the 15th Day of Hunger Strike
HRANA News Agency – It is reported that the status of Saeed Hoseinzadeh, political prisoner, on the 15th day of his hunger strike is critical. The clinic of prison had said to the Tehran prosecutor’s office in a letter that the continuation of this situation could lead to myocardial infarction, due to the “a substantial drop in blood pressure and heart rate and heart problems”.
According to the Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), the judicial authorities, due to the letter, asked his family to encourage him to break the strike because, according to them, it would not help. Mohammad Ali Taheri’s Lawyers Oppose the Court’s Decision
HRANA News Agency – Lawyers of Mohammad Ali Taheri, imprisoned founder of the “Erfan Halgheh”, say according to Article 134 of the Penal Code, implementation of punishment by a fine against this prisoner is illegal. The executive office in Evin prison has told Mr. Taheri that he should pay the fine otherwise his properties would be confiscated.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), lawyers of Mohammad Ali Taheri said that in accordance with Article 134 and the aggregation of the crime, the punishment of 5 years imprisonment for their client was the maximum penalty and a fine was not legally enforceable. Interrogator Prevents Saeid Hossainzadeh from Having Medical Furlough
HRANA News Agency – Judicial officials have said to Saeid Hossainzadeh that the interrogators prevented him from having furlough. This is while, the case has entered into court processing long times ago, and by issuance of the final sentence, the interrogators are not allowed to interfere in the case anymore.

Torture, Harassment and Forced Confessions; Iranian Security Police
HRANA News Agency – The Chief of Police in Tehran, Hossein Sajedinia has announced the arrest of more than a hundred “Hooligans” in Tehran in the form of “dealing with disrupting the social order and norm-breakers”. Informed sources have said to HRANA’s reporter that Police have forced them to confess against themselves by prohibiting phone calls and visits and having lawyer and beating them.
According to the sources of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), about 165 people in various parts of Tehran were arrested by the security forces in the form of “dealing with disrupting the social order and norm-breakers” from January to February.
