Amir Amirgholi in the 8th Month of Detention with no Trial
HRANA News Agency – After more than seven months of detention of Amir Amirgholi, political prisoner of ward number 8 of Evin prison, yet he is waiting for the court session.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), his court session was scheduled for May 23 in branch number 15 of the revolutionary court. Although he was transferred to the court, the session did not take place, and judge Salavati has not announced a new date yet. HRANA News Agency – Masoud Moradi Bastani, imprisoned journalist, was released after six years of imprisonment but a bail was demanded for his freedom for disability to pay fines.

Prison Guards’ Inspections in Wards 7 & 8 of Evin Prison
HRANA News Agency – The Special Guard of Evin prison has done a series of unusual inspecting, during recent days, in ward 7 and ward 8, each of which lasted for several hours.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), during the first inspection which began in the early hours of the morning on Thursday 16th July, prison guards woke up the prisoners and sent them into the hall and corridors of the wards and started inspecting prisoners’ stuff. The New Penal Code and the Possibility of Appeal for Drug Related Charges
