TV Reporters Filmed and Interviewed Death Row Sunni Prisoners
HRANA News Agency – Last week the crew of Channel One of IRIB went to the Hall of death row Sunni prisoners in Rajai Shahr prison of Karaj and after filming the hall that which had been previously cleaned, asked to have interviews with a number of prisoners who mainly have been detained since eight years ago.

Maryam Naghash Zargaran Returned to Evin Prison
HRANA News Agency – Maryam Naghash Zargaran (also known as Nasim), an imprisoned Christian convert, who had been released on medical leave, went back to Evin prison midway through her treatment as attorney general refused to extend her furlough and threatened to confiscate the bail collateral.
Maryam was granted medical leave on June 6, marking her 11th day of hunger strike. She was forced to interrupt her treatment and head back to Evin prison right after attorney general refused to extend her leave and threatened to confiscate the bail collateral of 3,500,000,000 IRR. 3 Sunni Prisoners still Kept in Solitary Confinement
HRANA News Agency – Because of protesting against the judge who had shown up in Rajai Shahr Prison, three Sunni prisoners were sentenced to seven days of solidarity confinement.

3 Sunni Prisoners Sent to Solitary Confinements of Rajaei Shahr Prison
HRANA News Agency – Three Sunni prisoners of Rajaei Shahr prison in Karaj, have been sentenced to serve 7 days in solitary confinement for their protests to the insulting statement of the prison’s judge. These prisoners are serving the second day of this punishment.

Leila Abdi Nejad Released on the Bail
HRANA News Agency – Leila Abdi Nejad, Christian resident of Mehrshahr of Karaj who earlier had been reported to be held in ward 209 of Evin prison, was released on the bail of 2 billion IRR on June 26.

The Supreme Court Upheld the Death Sentence of Shahram Ahmadi
HRANA News Agency – The request for a retrial by Shahram Ahmadi, Sunni prisoner of Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj who had been sentenced to death was rejected. Few days ago, the executive judge showed up in Sunni prisoners’ ward and told those whose death sentences had been upheld to prepare themselves for execution.

Maryam Naghash Zargaran’s Furlough Won’t be Extended
HRANA News Agency – On June 19, Tehran’s prosecutor’s office has refused the extended medical leave of Maryam Naghash Zargaran, former imprisoned Christian in women’s ward of Evin prison although she needs further treatments. By regard to this, she should show up in the prison soon. Ms. Zargaran had been sent to medical leave after eleven days of hunger strike. She has written a letter in this regard and her status which was provided for HRANA.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), on June 19, Tehran’s prosecutor’s office has refused to extend the medical leave of Maryam Naghash Zargaran who had been sent to medical furlough after eleven days of hunger strike on June 6. HRANA News Agency – The bail of 2 billion IRR was issued for Leila Abdi Nejad, Christian convert from Mehrshahr of Karaj who earlier was reported to be held in ward 209 of Evin prison.

Navid Khanjani Transfered to Hospital
HRANA News Agency – Navid Khanjani, a Bahai social activist, has been transferred from Raja’i Shahr prison to hospital for treatment. He has physical health problems, a weakened immune system and a sudden weight loss, of about 20 kilograms (44 lbs) in two months.
According to the report of Human Rights Activist News Agency in Iran (HRANA), on March 2 2010, after protests against the elections of 20091, under the human rights activists detention project operated by the Intelligence Office of the Islamic Guards, Navid Khanjani was detained at his family home in Isfahan and transferred to section 2-A of the Islamic Guards Detention Center for some time. In August 2012, in the course of helping with earthquake relief in the Iranian province of Azerbaijan, he was arrested, and on September 5, he was moved to Ward 4, Hall 12 of Raja’i Shahr prison to carry out his sentence.
