Three Bahais in Tonekabon Arrested: Trials Imminent

HRANA News Agency – On February 3, three Bahai men living in the city of Tonekabon, in Iran’s Mazandaran province, were summoned to the court in Tonekabon, charged and arrested, as their trials are about to begin.

Ministry of Intelligence Pressures Muslims of Rasht to Cut Ties with Bahais

HRANA News Agency – In the past two months over 20 Muslim residents of the city of Rasht, in Northern Iran, have been summoned and threatened by the Ministry of Intelligence because of their relationships with Bahais.

Arash Moghadam and Farshid Fathi still Waiting for Appeal Court

HRANA News Agency – Arash Moghadam Aslanpoor and Farshid Fathi, who have been sentenced each to one year in prison, following the events of April 17, 2014 in Evin prison (Black Thursday), are waiting for appeal court.

Peyman Mirzaei Location is still Unknown after his Arrest

HRANA News Agency – Peyman Mirzaei , one of Erfane Halgheh followers who has been arrested since Tuesday gathering close to the Human Rights Council building is still kept at an unknown location .

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Peyman Mirzaee one of the followers of  Erfane Halgheh has been arrested on Tuesday 27 January in front of  the Human Rights Council building. One Person Arrested in Attacks on the Gathering of Mohammad Ali Taheri’s Followers

HRANA News Agency – On Tuesday 27 January, several followers of Erfane Halgheh and Tehrani Citizens attempted to form a gathering in Esfandiar Street – in front of the Human Rights Council of Judiciary – to show their concerns about Mohammad Ali Taheri and lack of information about his situation. However, they were confronted by police and security forces.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), on Tuesday 27 January, several Therani citizens and Efrane Halghe followers attempted to gather in support of “Mohammad Ali Taheri” the founder of Interuniversalism Mysticism in front of the Human Rights Council of Judiciary located in Esfandiar Street but they were confronted by police and security forces. HRANA News Agency – The following is a report on the situation of 9 Gonabadi Dervish prisoners in Evin Prison in Tehran and Nezam prison in Shiraz, who have been sentenced to a total of 64 years imprisonment.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Gonabadi Dervish prisoners in Evin prison in Tehran and in Nezam prison in Shiraz have been sentenced to long term imprisonments while they have inappropriate condition and need special medical treatment and care. Rozita Vaseghi Freed after 5 Years Imprisonment

HRANA News Agency – Rozita Vaseghi, a Bahai from Mashhad was freed on the evening of January 21, after completing her five-year imprisonment with hard labour in Vakil-Abad prison, in Mashhad.

Sunni Imam Severely Beaten in Iran

HRANA News Agency – A Sunni Imam from Iran’s Kurdish minority was left unconscious in a field in Iran’s West Azerbaijan province after being interrogated and savagely beaten by plain-clothed officers on Monday 19 January 2015.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Ali Hosseinzadeh, the Imam of the Khankandi village mosque in the city of Miandoab, was pursued by plain-clothed armed officers near the village of Dash Band on the Bukan-Miandoab road on Monday evening. Behfar Khanjani Denied Family Visits

HRANA News Agency – Behfar Khanjani, a Bahai prisoner of conscience serving a five-year sentence in Seman’s central prison, has been denied the right to receive family visits as a punishment for writing a letter to Dr. Jahangiri, the head of Iran’s Prison Association.

Bahai Home and Workplace Raided in Shiraz

HRANA News Agency – On January 19, agents from the Ministry of Intelligence raided the workplace and then the home of Mr. Hasan Salehi in Shiraz.
