This report cannot perfectly and comprehensively reflect the details of human rights concerns in Iran for obvious reasons including the existing governmental limitations and ban on the free exchange of information. It should be emphasized that in addition to the monthly reports, the Department of Statistics and Publications of the Human Rights Activists Association of Iran publishes a comprehensive and analytical annual report at the end of each year.
Moreover, it should be noted that the consistent report of human rights violations was significantly declined and interrupted due to the long New Year holidays, which mainly resulted from lack or significant decline in the activities supported by organizations, media, and human rights activists. 49th Edition of “Line of Peace” Has Been Published
HRANA News Agency – Forty-ninth edition of “Peace”, the monthly magazine, was published.
In this issue of the magazine, there is an interview with Sahar Zohori and Shiva Amelirad, two teachers’ trade activist in Tehran and Kurdistan, in connection with the gathering on 7th May, also Mohammad Mostafaei, a human rights activist lawyer, was asked about the paradox of executing murderers of Farkhondeh. The Latest Outcome of the Inquiries about Seyed Jamal Hosseini’s Death

HRANA News Agency – Human Rights Activists in Iran is willing to inform the public opinion about the latest outcome of the inquiries on the case of the death of former director of HRANA and the co-founder of Human Rights Activists in Iran, Seyed Jamal Hosseini.
The body of Seyed Jamal Hosseini (Esfandiar Baharmas) had been found on August 5, 2014 at his home in Nevshehir in Turkey. Human Rights Activists in Iran had then in a statement stated that regarding the conditions there had to be investigations about his death which has been done by the Turkish authorities. 48th Number of Khat-e-Solh Monthly Published
HRANA News Agency – 48th issue of Khat-e-Solh (Line of peace) monthly was released and under the subject of “hanging rope the solution for drug problem”, possibility, reasons and needs for cancellation of execution for drug charges has been discussed in this volume.

UNHRC Extended Ahmad Shaheed’s Mandate
HRANA News Agency – The mandate of Ahmad Shaheed, the UN special rapporteur for human right situation in Iran, has been extended for another year by UN Human Rights Council.
