According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Leila Abdi Nejad, daughter of Moses, married a Christian convert from Mehrshahr of Karaj in Alborz province has been arrested at her home by the security forces.
A close source to Abdi Nejad family by announcing the news, told in an interview with HRANA’s reporters: “The officers entered to Abdi Nejad’s house without a warrant.”
The source added: “After searching Abdi Nejad’s house they took her religious books.”
This source continued: “It is said to her father and husband of that she was accused of proselytizing Christianity. It is specified that she is held in ward 209 of Evin prison, but so far she has not had any contact with her family.”
