HRANA News Agency – Mashallah Shamsolvaezin will be in the trial court with charge of “propaganda against the regime”.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Mashallah Shamsolvaezin, vice president of Association of Iranian Journalists and spokesman for the Association in Defense of the freedom of press, on 30th November will be in court on charges of “propaganda against the system”.
He posted on his Facebook, “To all my colleagues and friends, I had been summoned to the court because of my speech in Freedom of Press Hero Awards Ceremony 2014 in Cape Town, as well as the contents that I Post on my Facebook. Now, I have been asked to attend a trial in the Revolutionary Court on 30th November with charge of propaganda against the regime, also, I have been prevented to leave the country and situation of the Association of Journalists is in Ambiguity and unclear. I am still patient, and invite others to tolerance.”
“Therefore, if you see that after my article about ISIS, my page is not so active, it is because these recent restrictions and to clarify for those “Gentlemen” that I do not have any “special mission”. No, we just seek the best for our country and if for any reason they think our silence and tolerance is useful in this chaos of Middle East, we will do the useful job and there is no better job than agriculture. As we have to plough people’s mind or people’s land and both are productive. Nowadays, we are involved with plough of people’s land and finger cross it is prolific!”
