Arash Sadeghi Transferred to the Hospital

HRANA News Agency – Arash Sadeghi was transferred to the hospital and was admitted there four days after ending his 72-day long protesting hunger strike. On the other hand, contrary to the promises, Prosecutor’s Office has rejected extending his wife’s furlough and she has been summoned to endure her imprisonment.

Despite Severe Health Condition; Arash Sadeghi Wasn’t Sent to the Hospital

HRANA News Agency – Arash Sadeghi, imprisoned civil rights activist, who had ended his hunger strike on its 72nd day after his wife was sent to furlough, was not transferred to the hospital, despite the deterioration of his physical condition, and he is still being held in the prison.

Golrokh Irai Released / Arash Sadeghi Ended His Hunger Strike

HRANA News Agency – On January 3, 2017, Golrokh Irai was released on furlough from women’s ward of Evin prison, so Arash Sadeghi in ward 8 of the prison ended his hunger strike on its 72nd day.

A Report about Arash SAdeghi’s Medical Situation

HRANA News Agency – Arash Sadeghi, imprisoned civil rights activist in Evin prison who was on hunger strike, is held in ward 8 of Evin prison. On December 26, he was exanimated in the hospital and the doctors warned about the “risk of coma and even death,” “a serious heart condition” and “risk of a heart attack.”

Navid Kamran Deprived of Proper Medical Treatment in Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency – Navid Kamran is a civil rights activist who is imprisoned in ward number 8 of Evin prison. Mr. Kamran needs two surgery operations, due to cutting his sensory nerves, motor impairment and platinum implant in his right leg fibula. Despite the recommendation of forensic, he still is being deprived of proper treatment.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Navid Kamran who has old injuries on his right leg fibula and ankle, is facing motor impairment and movement difficulties. This problem has become worse due to heating problems in the prison and lack of warm water, and necessity of taking the stairs, and improper beds in the prison. Golrokh Irai Addresses Her and Her Husband’s Sufferings

HRANA News Agency – Golrokh Irai and Arash Sadeghi, civil rights activists are held in Evin prison, and serving their 6 and 19 years imprisonment. Arash Sadeghi had gone on hunger strike for more than 70 days in protest to the case and the arrest of his wife. What follows is a Golrokh Irai’s speech before the arrest and her descriptions of the case and the rights that have been violated.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Arash Sadeghi who is serving his sentence in Hall 10, ward 8 of Evin prisonnhad gone on hunger strike by writing a letter to protest against his wife’s arrest.
The political prisoner later, had written an open letter and mentioned the documented cases of rights violations in the process of arrest, interrogation, trial and sentencing.
Golrokh Irai was arrest and taken to Evin prison by the security forces on October 24, 2016 without receiving written summons.

HRANA News Agency – On December 4, a group of prisoners in the women’s ward of Evin prison sat out to protest against the exclusion of a meeting between Golrokh Irai and her husband, Arash Sadeghi. Finally, at 7 pm the couple were able to meet in the Office of Enforcement.

Arash Sadeghi Transferred to the Hospital on the 39th Day of His Hunger Strike

HRANA News Agency – Arash Sadeghi, imprisoned civil rights activist in Evin prison who is on hunger strike, was transferred to the hospital, following a sharp drop in his blood pressure pressure and vomiting blood. This prisoner who is now on the 60th day of his hunger strike, was returned to prison due to refusing to receive medical serum.

8 Political Prisoners on Hunger Strike in 3 Different Prisons

HRANA News Agency – Eight political prisoners in Evin prison of Tehran, Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj and central prison of Tabriz have gone on hunger strike. Their condition is reported critical. Vahid Sayadi Nasir, Arash Sadeghi, Ali Shariati and Amir (Ali) Amirgholi all in Evin Prison and Morteza Moradpour in Central Prison of Tabriz. And also Foad Rezazadeh has gone on hunger strike in Rajae Shahr prison in Karaj. On the other hand, Mohammad Ali Taheri’s wife, announced the hunger strike of her husband in interview with HRANA until his freedom. Mehdi Rajabian who was on hunger strike and was released on furlough, is suffering severely from the consequences of this strike. All this while Siamak Mirzaee announced his decision to go on hunger strike.
According to the report of Human Rights Activist News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Mohammad Ali Taheri, Vahid Sayadi, Arash Sadeghi, Hossein Rajbian, Amir (Ali) Amirgholi and Morteza Moradpour in Evin prison and central prison of Tabriz and Foad Rezazadeh in Rajae Shahr prison in Karaj have gone on hunger strike since 15 to 56 days ago.
