An imprisoned Christian is in uncertainty for 4 months

HRANA News Agency – Hossein Saketi Aramsari (Stefan) the converted Christian has been arrested since July and still is in uncertainty in Karaj central prison.

 

According to the report of the Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Hossein (Stefan) who was converted to Christianity arrested on July 23, 2013 in the forests of Golestan, first transferred to Jajerm intelligence and then to Bojnurd intelligence in Northern Khorasan, was in solitary confinement for 15 days and his dossier with the accusation of “promoting Christianity” has been handed over to Alborz revolutionary court.  Continue reading “An imprisoned Christian is in uncertainty for 4 months”

Prison authorities denied medical vacation for Behnam Irani

HRANA News Agency – Prison authorities of Karaj prison denied medical furlough of Behnam Irani the converted christian who is suffering from several health problems.

 

According to a report by Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Behnam Irani the converted christian in ward 2 in hall 7 of Karaj prison has several health problems such as eye-sight weakness, knee issues, gut bleeding and backache, however newly he has afflicted to skin inflammation he has not access to medical treatment inside prison because of lack of specialist in prison. Imprisoned converted Christian in critical health condition

HRANA News Agency – Behnam Irani the converted christian who is imprisoned in Karaj prison has serious critical health condition and the prison officials did not do anything to improve his health condition.

According to a report by Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Behnam Irani the converted christian who imprisoned in ward 2 the hall 7 of Karaj prison has suffered from serious backache since two weeks ago and the officials did nothing about his medical treatment.

Behnam Irani, Christian Prisoner in a Deteriorating Health Condition


HRANA News Agency – Behnam Irani, a Christian convert citizen in prison is in a deteriorating health condition and prison’s authorities deny his medical care.
According to a report by Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Behnam Irani has blood infection ,  and he might be sent to a hospital for a surgery, that may remove part of his intestines, which are source of infection.

Amnesty‎: Iran- Releases of prisoners of conscience after pardon not enough

HRANA News Agency – Amnesty‎ International; Anyone held in Iran solely for the peaceful exercise of their human rights should immediately and unconditionally be released, Amnesty International has said, following the pardoning by Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei of at least 130 political prisoners, including prisoners of conscience, from Tehran’s Evin Prison.

Christian Priest, Behnam Irani, Arrested

HRANA News Agency – On Tuesday, May 31, 2011, security forces raided Behnam Irani’s house in Karaj and arrested him.Behnam Irani is a Christian priest.

During the arrest, security forces assaulted and insulted Behnam Irani in front of his wife and two young children and placed him in handcuffs before taking him away.Previously, Behnam Irani had been summoned to report to Rajai-Shahr Prison in Karaj within twenty days in order to begin serving his one year sentence.It is not clear why this Christian priest was beaten and arrested before his deadline was reached.

According to a report by Rahsa News, judicial authorities have informed Behnam Irani that after he spends one year in prison, his five year suspended sentence will begin.

Behnam Irani is a Christian priest who was initially arrested in 2006 and sentenced to a five-year suspended prison term.Four years later, in 2010, he was detained again and released after posting a bail approximately equivalent to $9,500.Subsequently, Behnam Irani was sentenced to a year in prison, but this sentence was reduced by two months as a result of an objection filed by his attorney.
