HRANA News Agency – The physical condition of Maryam Naghash Zargaran is critical on the 22nd day of hunger strike in Evin prison. Although the coroner confirmed the heart disease and sent to the prosecutor but the prosecutor told that the security authorities objected the parole.

Maryam Naghash Zargaran Returned to Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency – Maryam Naghash Zargaran (also known as Nasim), an imprisoned Christian convert, who had been released on medical leave, went back to Evin prison midway through her treatment as attorney general refused to extend her furlough and threatened to confiscate the bail collateral.

Maryam was granted medical leave on June 6, marking her 11th day of hunger strike. She was forced to interrupt her treatment and head back to Evin prison right after attorney general refused to extend her leave and threatened to confiscate the bail collateral of 3,500,000,000 IRR. Maryam Naghash Zargaran’s Furlough Won’t be Extended

HRANA News Agency – On June 19, Tehran’s prosecutor’s office has refused the extended medical leave of Maryam Naghash Zargaran, former imprisoned Christian in women’s ward of Evin prison although she needs further treatments. By regard to this, she should show up in the prison soon.  Ms. Zargaran had been sent to medical leave after eleven days of hunger strike. She has written a letter in this regard and her status which was provided for HRANA.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), on June 19, Tehran’s prosecutor’s office has refused to extend the medical leave of Maryam Naghash Zargaran who had been sent to medical furlough after eleven days of hunger strike on June 6. HRANA News Agency – The hunger strike of 5 political prisoners, namely Ehsan Mazandarani, Jafar Aimzadeh, Mohammad Abdullahi, Shahram Poormansouri and Ayoub Asadzadeh still goes on. The physical condition of some of them, including Ehsan Mazandarani, Rasoul Razavi and Jafar Azimzadeh, is reported to be critical.
According to the report of Human Rights Activist News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Ehsan Mazandarani, Jafar Aimzadeh, Mohammad Abdullahi, Shahram Poormansouri and Ayoub Asadzadeh are still on hunger strike in Evin, Rajai Shahr, Uremia, Tabriz and Kashmar prisons, in protest to their situations. HRANA News Agency – Maryam (Nasim) Naghash Zargaran, political prisoner of women’s ward of Evin, was sent to furlough from Evin Prison on the eleventh day of her hunger strike on June 6.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Maryam (Nasim) Naghash Zargaran, political prisoner of women’s ward of Evin prison, who had gone on hunger strike in protest to the lack of attention to her diseases, her case and opposition to her requests of parole and furlough since May 25, was sent to furlough on the bail from Evin Prison. At Least 7 Prisoners Are on Hunger Strike in Different Prisons

HRANA News Agency – At least 7 political prisoners namely Ehsan Mazandarani, Jafar Aimzadeh, Maryam Naghash Zargaran, Mohammad Sadigh Kaboodvand, Rasul Razavi, Heshmatullah Tabarzadi and Mohammad Abdullahi are on hunger strike in different prisons, in protest to their conditions. The physical condition of some of them is reported to be critical. Arash Mokri and Mohammad Amin Agoushi also had announced their strikes last month, but there is no information about the continuation or end of their strike.

HRANA News Agency – Maryam (Nasim) Naghash Zargaran, political prisoner of women’s ward of Evin prison has gone on hunger strike in protest to lack of attention to her diseases, her case and opposition to her requests of parole and furlough since May 25, 2016. The Christion refused to go to the visit on May 29, 2016. Following this action most of the others in the ward also refused to go to the visit in support of his appeal.

HRANA News Agency – Maryam (Nasim) Naghash Zargaran, political prisoner of women’s ward of Evin prison has constant dizziness and pain in her ear. The doctors in prison’s clinic told her after primary treatment that she should not move her head for two weeks, and if the condition remained the same, she had to undergo a surgery. This is while the prosecutor is rejecting the request for medical furlough.
