48th Number of Khat-e-Solh Monthly Published

HRANA News Agency – 48th issue of Khat-e-Solh (Line of peace) monthly was released and under the subject of “hanging rope the solution for drug problem”, possibility, reasons and needs for cancellation of execution for drug charges has been discussed in this volume.

Monthly Report – An Overview of the Human Rights Situation in Iran in February – March, 2015

HRANA News Agency – The Department of Statistics and Publications of the Human Rights Activists in Iran has published the following monthly report on the human rights situation in Iran during the period of February- March, 2015 (Persian calendar month of Esfand, 1393). This report cannot perfectly and comprehensively reflect the details of human rights concerns in Iran for obvious reasons including the existing governmental limitations and ban on the free exchange of information. It should be emphasized that in addition to the monthly reports, the Department of Statistics and Publications of the Human Rights Activists Association of Iran publishes a comprehensive and analytical annual report at the end of each year. UNHRC Extended Ahmad Shaheed’s Mandate

HRANA News Agency – The mandate of Ahmad Shaheed, the UN special rapporteur for human right situation in Iran, has been extended for another year by UN Human Rights Council.

Monthly Report – An Overview of the Human Rights Situation in Iran in January – February, 2015

HRANA News Agency – The Department of Statistics and Publications of the Human Rights Activists in Iran has published the following monthly report on the human rights situation in Iran during the period of January – February, 2015 (Persian calendar month of Bahman, 1393). This report cannot perfectly and comprehensively reflect the details of human rights concerns in Iran for obvious reasons including the existing governmental limitations and ban on the free exchange of information. HRANA News Agency – Human Rights Activist Association of Iran has published the booklet of “Mine, the Silent Killer of Iranians”. This book is the first of its kind in terms of accuracy and inclusiveness. The booklet is in 50 pages and provides information, statistics, pictorial reports about Mine contaminated areas in Iran, civilian victims, militaries and Mine sweeping unites from 1988 to 2012.
