Saeid Hoseinzadeh Threated to Go on a Dry Hunger Strike

HRANA News Agency – Saeid Hoseinzadeh, imprisoned civil rights activist who is on hunger strike, wrote a letter to announce that, in case of failure to address his demands in the coming days, he will go on dry hunger strike and will stop drinking water. He wrote that he did not know that activity for the charities and supporting labor children was a criminal offense and would face imprisonment.
According to the Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), this social activist who suffers from heart disease, gastrointestinal and joints problems, has gone on hunger strike since 15 days ago with the demands of “medical furlough or freedom due to the order of inability to endure the punishment” or stopping the moratorium, and said in his letter that he was written on the 9th day of hunger strike, “he has faced 6 kg of weight loss, drop of blood pressure and palpitations”.
