Fifty Detainees of Recent Protests Transferred to Zahedan Prison

HRANA News Agency – At least 50 detainees of recent protests were transferred to Zahedan prison from a security agency detention center, allegedly belonging to the Intelligence Ministry, and then were transferred to the security detention center after being fingerprinted on January 10, 2018.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), at least 50 detainees were transferred to Zahedan prison in order to be fingerprinted and then were transferred to the Intelligence Ministry after being fingerprinted on January 10, 2018. Hamze Noorzehi; Death Row Juvenile Offender in Zahedan Prison

HRANA News Agency – Two Afghan juvenile offenders who were born and grew up in Iran, were tried for drug possession while they were under the age of 18 and eventually one of them was sentenced to death in Zahedan. They claim that they have been tortured and the officers hung them from the ceiling using the rope, took their clothes off and plundered them with wood and cable for the purpose of obtaining untrue confessions.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Hamze Noorzehi, juvenile offender from Afghanistan was arrested by security forces when was 17 years old and was sentenced to death by the Revolutionary Court of Zahedan. HRANA News Agency – Quarantine prisoners of Zahedan prison are on a hunger strike to protest at the lack of adequate food, as well as many other problems. Prisoners say, “We are treated like animals.”
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), poor conditions and lack of adequate food and starved prisoners in Zahedan prison has been to the extent that the quarantine prisoners has begun a hunger strike and other prisoners are asking for help from the wider international community because of numerous grievances. 4 Prisoners Hanged in the Prison of Isfahan

HRANA News Agency – Four prisoners were hanged in the prison of Isfahan and there are 6 others waiting for execution in Bandar Abbas and Zahedan prison.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), four of those convicted of drug-related crimes were hanged in Dastgerd prison, in Isfahan on Wednesday 29th July.
