HRANA News Agency – “Mohammad Ali Taheri”, a prisoner of conscience is in life threatening health condition because of his hunger strike. After 23 days of hunger strike, he is extremely weak and has been recovered several times over the past couple of days from unconsciousness by injecting fluids and drugs at prison’s clinic.
HRANA reports based on the news from “Sahamnews”, this prisoner has been on hunger strike in protest to his case which remained open in the charges of “Corruption on earth”. His instigators attempting to keep him at solitary confinement and use this time to create more evidence and grounds to prosecute him at a “Kangaroo court” to give him a death sentence.
Mohammad Ali Taheri has previously announced “if it is decided that I receive an unfair and inhumane sentence by which spills tramples and disregards my blood, I would rather die over hunger strike to prevent disregarding my blood”
Intelligence and Judicial system of Iranian government have been attempting to gather more evidence to prosecute Mr Taheri for the “Apostasy” charges. For this purpose, they have arranged for fake private complainants to lodge untrue complaints against Mr Taheri and to give false statements. This process is very similar to the case of “Mohsen Amiraslani” in which Iran Intelligence Services arranged to two fake private complainants against him. He received a death penalty and was executed on the charge of “rape” based on the accounts of these two fake witnesses; a pre-planned scenario which was revealed before by “Sahamnews”. Now the security organisations of Iranian regime are attempting to create preliminaries for Mohammad Ali Taheri’s death sentence on the charge of “Corruption on earth”. The death sentence can be given to and executed for Mr Taheri by the (Kangaroo court) of Islamic Revolutionary Court on these grounds. This whole process would reduce the pressure from International Assembly on Iran Islamic Government in terms of human right violations and Conscience Prisoners executions can be linked to charges different from their believes and ideologies by Iranian Government.
Mr Taheri has been in solitary confinement since 4 May, 2011, on the charges of Dissident and establishment of Interuniversalism Mysticism.
Previously, a note was sent to Sahamnews by Mr Taheri in which he mentioned the increasing amount of pressure put on him and other Political and Security prisoners. In this note he explained that he is prepared to give accounts about his torture at prison in the presence of the United Nations Special Rapporteur for Human Rights in Iran.
