Mostafa Azizi Transferred to Prison’s Clinic

HRANA News Agency – Mostafa Azizi was transferred to Evin prison’s clinic.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Mostafa Azizi, prominent writer and producer, due to drooped blood pressure, was transferred to Evin prison’s clinic and after several hours and taking a serum, was returned to the ward on Tuesday night, 14th February.
An informed source, in this regard, told HRANA’s reporter: “Mr Azizi is suffering from Asthma, Eczema, Rheumatism, and Diabetes, and he has had to follow a specific diet.”
It should be mentioned that, Mostafa Azizi, was arrested on 1st February 2014 and was transferred to solitary confinement in ward 2A in Evin prison. After enduring 33 days imprisonment in ward 2A, which belongs to the Revolutionary Guards, he was transferred to ward 8, Hall 7, in Evin prison.
His trial will take place in branch 15 of Revolutionary Court, presided by Judge Salavati, on 1st of June. The authorities have announced that it is not possible to release him on a bail before his trial.
It is to say, Mostafa Azizi, prominent writer and former TV producer, had set a TV match program called “Tala’sh” and a TV serial, “Mosafer va Rahe bipayan”  in 90s and 2000s,  which were very popular. He is a Canadian citizen and had gone to Iran for a family visit.
