A Prisoner Hanged in Tabriz

HRANA News Agency – Mohammad Abbasnejad has been hanged in the Prison of Tabriz on June 1st.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Mohammad Abbasnejad, 32, son of Aziz, from Sardasht was hanged on charge of drug trafficking in the Central Prison of Tabriz on Monday June 1st.

An informed source in this matter told HRANA’s reporter: “Mohammad was married and had a 6-year-old child. His family tried very hard to visit him before the executions but the authorities told them unexpectedly to go and collect his body.”

Mr. Abbasnejad had a little business in Sardasht and had never accepted the charges and his case had serious lack of evidences.

This execution has not been announced by the officials yet.
