HRANA News Agency – Karim Abraham and Masoud Garmsiri, two political prisoners have been transferred to Mahabad prison.
According to the reports of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Karim Abraham from intelligence service of Uremia detention centre and Masoud Garmsiri from Naghadeh prison have been transferred to Mahabad prison, earlier this week.
Kairm Abraham, political prisoner, was arrested on charge of cooperation with Kurdistan Democrat party, and transferred to intelligence service detention of Uremia, in September. After more than one month in temporary arrest, he has been transferred to Mahabad prison and ist still under temporary arrest and waiting for court hearing.
Masoud Garmsiri, was arrested on April 13 and transferred to Naghadeh prison on charge of cooperating with Kurdistan Democrat party. He was transferred to Mahabad prison earlier this week. This prisoner is also under arrest without court order.
According to HRANA, Mahbad prison is a small prison with nearly 750 prisoners. More than 30 political prisoner are kept in this prison along with general and non-political prisoners.
