HRANA News Agency – Since the Baluch civilians have been arrested in Nasir Abad the people of this region have asked authorities to clarify the reason of these arrests, especially the detention of some Red Crescent rescuers who have been arrested in this case. The following is the letter of Amin Eslam Zehi who have been working in the Red Crescent for 15 years:

Some time ago, the news about the detention of rescuers from Red Crescent was published in Nasirabad village of Sarbaz town which caused anxiety for us.

Before, the news about killing a teacher and a Basiji were published, too. We all condemn this indecent and wish patience and long life with blessing for survivors. As an employee of Red Crescent, I served the people and the society during these more than 15 years and by attendance in different events and various accidents as Baluchistan flood, South Khorasan earthquake, Bam, Afghanistan and Pakistan earthquakes, I got a lot of experiences.

I reached the truth perception that a rescuer beyond each thought, reflection and national, racial and religious and cultural view is aimed to rescue the lives of people who face the accident.

These rescuers without property expectation and even thinking to earn wealth and position, were at a path to help and his unique target was to serve the people. As the Islamic Republic’s Founder said: “The help is the action of prophets and the saints.”

Now in our province, many young people have attended in Red Crescent and their kind hands are there to protect and guide the different accident victims and it might be that they never visit and know each other.

Till now, the other rescuers and I have not visited the young Nasirabad road rescuers but as I wrote you about a rescuer’s character, their aim is just helping and serving the humanity without taking it into consideration of personality.

They would not harm the society and I think there is a mistake in their detention, doing such deeds seems impossible from rescuers who undertook to preserve and kept serving the society.

In this manner, we request you as the highest executive and legal authorities of the province and the others to take action about them, who were arrested, because you are a rescuer, too.
