HRANA News Agency – Hamid Jalilvand was released on the bail after 1 month detention.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), a member of his family has said that Hamid Jalilvand has been released from Evin prison, on Saturday, 25th July, on a the bail of 100 million Tomans.
Hamid Jalilvand was detained on 22nd June, after being summoned by the security forces. Earlier, a member of his family, announcing this news, told HRANA: “Hamid Jalilvand was summoned for the second time, after he came back from abroad and this time he did not come back home. This is several days that the family has no news about him.”
According to this source, Hamid Jalilvand, labour activist and religious minorities, was arrested in 2009 with unknown charges and for nearly three months was imprisoned in Evin prison, respectively.
Mr Jalilvand’s family says that he had been summoned and threatened previously, for “Distributing Pamphlets related to Christianity”.
