HRANA News Agency – Yashar Darulshafa, political prisoner in Ward 350 of Evin Prison, was released for four days on a furlough on May 6, 2016. He has been sentenced to 5 years imprisonment.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Yashar Darulshafa, political prisoner in Ward 350 of Evin Prison, was released for four days on May 6, 2016.
Yashar Darulshafa had been kept for 54 days under detention in wards 240 and 350 in Evin prison, during two detentions by the Ministry of Intelligence.
The leftist student activist and former secretary of the Islamic Reformist Students’ Association in International University of Qazvin and graduated from Tehran University in 2010, was sentenced to 7 years imprisonment by Branch 15 of Tehran Revolutionary Court, presided by Judge Salvati, on charges of gathering and collusion, propaganda against the regime and insulting the leadership. The sentence was reduced to 5 years and 6 months on the appeal court.
Yashar Darulshafa was sent to ward 350 of Evin prison to serve his sentence on November 5, 2012.
