Sepidar Prison of Ahwaz: One Prisoner Prepared to Be Executed

HRANA News Agency – A prisoner was transferred to solitary confinement in Sepidar prison, in Ahwaz, in order to be executed.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Mehdi Dahimi, son of Sadegh, born in 1983, single, from Shooshtar, who has been charged with murder, was transferred to solitary confinement in Sepisar prison to be executed.

A close source to Dahimi family announced this news and told HRANA’s reporter: “Mehdi had an argument with his employer 11 year ago because of his unpaid wages, and his employer was killed in the conflict.”

The source went on and explained: “Mahdi’s family and relatives tried to obtain the consent of the victim’s family, but due to very heavy compensation request by the victim’s family and on the other hand, Dahimi family’s poverty and their poor economic condition, they were not able to pay the blood money which was asked”.
