HRANA News Agency – Kianoosh Sanjari, blogger and human rights activist who used to live in America and had been arrested in December, was release on the bail after serving about 3 months in detention.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Kianoosh Sanjari was release on a bail of 1 billion IRR in February 2017.
Kianoosh Sanjari had returned to Iran in 2016.
After a few weeks of his presence in Iran in December, 2016, security forces summoned and arrested him. The accusation against him is not known.
It should be noted Kianoosh Sanjari (born on September 11, 1982 in Tehran) is a civil rights activist and blogger who had been arrested several times.
Mr. Sanjari was arrested for the first time at the age of 17, during Iran students’ protests in July 1999 against the closure of Salam newspaper (Tehran University dormitory incident).
The civic activist was arrested last time on October 8, 2006 in the midst of a clash between security forces and supporters of Ayatollah Boroujerdi.
