Highest Number of Executions in Recent 10 Years in Iran: UN

HRANA News Agency – Ahmed Shaheed, the United Nations (UN) Special Rapporteur on the human rights situation in the Islamic Republic of Iran, in his eleventh report to the UN human rights council, announced: “in 2015 Islamic republic of Iran have had the highest number of executions within the past 10 years.”

One Prisoner Hanged in Gorgan Prison

HRANA News Agency – “I am ready to give my life to stop the execution”, this sentence was repeated during the interview many times. “I got 10 years older during past three years, his sister is suffering from depression, everything in life has changed, if my son had died in Halabcheh or died in an accident, it would not be this much painful. 40 Prisoners’ Death Sentences Confirmed During a Week

HRANA News Agency – At least forty prisoners’ death sentences were confirmed last week in Ghezelhesar prison in Karaj. Most of the sentences were announced on Sunday February 2nd.
