HRANA – Amin Khaledi Hassanabadi, a citizen currently held in Naqadeh Prison, has been sentenced by Branch 2 of the Revolutionary Court of Urmia to five years in prison.
According to Kolbar News, Branch 2 of the Revolutionary Court of Urmia, presided over by Judge Shahini, sentenced Mr. Khaledi Hassanabadi to five years in prison on the charge of “assembly and collusion to commit a crime against national security.” The verdict was issued in October 2025 and was later formally communicated to him in Naqadeh Prison.
According to the report, Khaledi Hassanabadi was arrested earlier this year by security forces in Oshnavieh County and transferred to one of Urmia’s security detention centers. After completing the interrogation process, he was moved to Naqadeh Prison. Throughout his detention, this citizen has been denied access to legal counsel.
