16 prisoners were executed clandestinely in Esfahan

HRANA News Agency – A responsible member of the statistics center of human rights activists in Iran declared that 16 prisoners were executed in Iran last year clandestinely on charge of carrying drugs.

 

Nazanin Javaherian in a talk with HRANA declared that “Yesterday Esfahan court announced 40 executions in 2012 while due to the scrutiny done by the statistics center of human rights activists group in Iran last year only 24 execution sentences on charge of carrying drugs were released by official medias.” Continue reading “16 prisoners were executed clandestinely in Esfahan”

Three Prisoners Hanged in Isfahan, Iran

HRANA News Agency– Three prisoners convicted of drug trafficking hanged in Isfahan’s Central Prison.

According to a report by Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), quoted from IRIB New, local prosecuting attorney informed these three prisoners were convicted of holding and distributing 250 Kg of different drugs such as: Heroin, Crack, Morphine and Opium.

“The death sentence of a prisoner convicted of rape has been confirmed by the Supreme Court and he will be executed soon.” He added.

Seven Prisoners Hanged in Isfahan, Iran

HRANA News Agency – Seven prisoners convicted of drug trafficking and rape were hanged in Isfahan Prison on Wednesday, December 19, 2012.

According to a report by Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), quoted from Keyhan, local judiciary authorities informed six of then were convicted of drug trafficking and one of them was convicted of rape.
