Political Prisoners In Uremia Prison Prohibited From Wearing Kurdish Clothes

HRANA News Agency – One of the officials in Uremia prison prohibited political prisoners from wearing Kurdish clothes and threatened them to be punished in case of ignorance.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Mir Hamid Seyed Alavi, internal manager of Uremia prison has prohibited political prisoners from wearing Kurdish customs on September 2, and threatened them of seizure of their clothes in case of ignoring the order.
In the meantime, a political prisoner, who was wearing Kurdish clothes, was questioned by a prison guard regarding ignoring the order of the prison’s chief.
According to HRANA, this order caused prisoners complains and they have announced that “under no circumstance they will obey”.
