HRANA – At dawn on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, a prisoner who had previously been sentenced to death on murder charges was executed in Sabzevar Prison.

According to HRANA, one prisoner was executed in Sabzevar Prison, Razavi Khorasan province, at dawn on Wednesday, October 28, 2026.

The identity of the prisoner has been confirmed by HRANA as Reza Talebi. According to information obtained by HRANA, Mr. Talebi had previously been arrested on murder charges and subsequently sentenced to death by a criminal court.

As of the time of this report, the execution has not been officially announced by prison authorities or other relevant institutions.
