Hossein Rafei Arrested in Tehran

HRANA News Agency – Hossein Rafei, political activist and member of the Nationalist-religious Activists Council was arrested.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Hossein Rafei was arrested and taken to an unknown location Tuesday 16th June. This political activist had been arrested earlier in 2000 and was sentenced to three years imprisonment and apparently his current arrest is due to that old verdict, although, based on the law, after a lapse of 15 years the old verdict should be invalid. 4 Social Media Activists and 2 Underground Musicians Arrested

HRANA News Agency – 4 social media activists and 2 members of underground music bands have been arrested in Tehran and Kerman.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Hamed Ghanbari, Mahmoud Musavifar, Shayan Akbarpour and Amir Ben Saied have been arrested on Sunday May 31st in Tehran and Ehsanollah Amuzegar and Arash Hallaj as well on Monday June 1st in Kerman. Koorosh Zaeim Summoned to the Revolutionary Court

HRANA News Agency – Koorosh Zaeim, member of central council of National Front party, was summoned to the court again.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Koorosh Zaeim has been charged with propaganda against the regime, acts against the national security and membership in National Front party in an order that is issued in branch number 15 of the revolutionary court with chief judge Salavati, and has to go to the court on July 4. Ahmad Zaidabadi Exiled to Gonabad after Serving His Imprisonment Sentence

HRANA News Agency- Ahmad Zaidabadi, journalist and political activist, was exiled to the city of Gonabad directly after being released from Rajai Shahr Prison.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Ahmad Zaidabadi in the morning of Thursday 21st May, at the end of his imprisonment sentence, was released from Rajai Shahr prison, in Karaj, and immediately was transferred to the city of Gonabad. Security Forces Prevented “National Front” from Holding Annual Meeting

HRANA News Agency – The security forces made phone calls and threatened to arrest the members of the National Front, prevented the meeting of their Central Council to take place.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), a meeting of the Central Council of the National Front had been planned to be held in the home of one of the members, on Thursday 7th May, which was not held, due to the warns and threats of arrest of the members and the quorum was not reached. HRANA News Agency – In accordance with the Annual Report of the Committee to Protect Journalists;  in about 10 countries which are most censored by the government, Iran is the seventh one.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), the report states that Eritrea, North Korea, Saudi Arabia, Ethiopia, Azerbaijan and Vietnam have the most amount of censor before Iran and China, Myanmar and Cuba are after Iran. According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Kourosh Zaeim, writer, translator and central council and executive board member of Jebheh Meli party,  has multiple arrests and summons to judiciaries in his record.
