A Report about the Latest Status of Ayatollah Mohammadareza Nekounam

HRANA News Agency – Ayatollah Mohammadareza Nekounam, imprisoned cleric and critic of the leadership who is suffering from multiple diseases is held in Qom prison. He was sentenced to 5 years in prison earlier and had gone on hunger strike in the solitary confinement and is in need of medical attention.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Ayatollah Mohammadareza Nekounam, imprisoned cleric and critic who is serving his sentence in Coast prison in Qom, was arrested in the wake of a critical speech by the complaints of several students and was sentenced to five years imprisonment by the Special Court for the Clergy. IRGC Slaughtered Kubars’ Horses in Oshnavieh

HRANA News Agency – The border guards affiliated to the IRGC detained a number of Kulbars of Oshnavieh in the area and shot their horses and mules on April 11, 2016.

According to the Report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), a number of Kulbars were stopped and arrested by the border guards affiliated to the IRGC in the border region of Oshnavieh. Hussein Ronaghi Maleki’s Father on Hunger Strike in front of Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency –  Ahmed Ronaghi Maleki after the third day of a hunger strike for justice for his sick son Hussein, who is on  the seventh day of his hunger strike in Evin prison, announced in an interview with HRANA that the authorities had intended to kill Hussein. He said also that he was arrested for a few hours in front of Evin prison on April 11, 2016.
Ahmed Ronaghi Maleki announced in an interview with HRANA: “The situation of my son is very serious and needs medical treatment, but no one is taking the responsibility. HRANA News Agency – Despite warnings of Amnesty International, Rashid Kouhi was executed on the charge of drug offenses without the right of appeal in Lakan prison of Rasht.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Rashid Kouhi, at the morning of April 9, 2016 was executed in Lakan prison of Rasht in connection with the discovery of 800 g jar in his bag. Families not Allowed to Send Post Packages to the Prisoners in Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency – Families of some prisoners in Evin Prison are reporting restrictions on sending packages to prisoners in different post offices.

At Least 977 Executions in Iran in 2015; Amnesty International

HRANA News Agency – Amnesty International reported that in 2015, the rate of executions in the world was the highest in the past 25 years and Iran, along with Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have been announced as the countries with the highest number of executions.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Amnesty International has announced in a report that in 2015 at least 1634 people were executed in 25 countries.
