HRANA News Agency – The judicial and security authorities are preventing Saeid Hossainzadeh from being released, after his inability to serve the sentence was confirmed in Khomaini hospital.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Saeid Hossainzadeh who was transferred to Khomaini hospital, received the confirmation of the physicians that his rheumatoid arthritis has infected his hearth and he needs continuous treatment and cannot stay in the prison anymore. Aso Rostami Released From Evin Prison On The Bail

HRANA News Agency – Aso Rostami, social and civil rights activist, was released from Evin prison after sixteen months of detention.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Aso Rostami, civil rights activist, had been arrested along with several others after a gathering to support Kobani in front of UN office in Tehran, on Wednesday, 8th October 2014, and after a long time in solitary confinement and interrogation, he was transferred to ward 8 of Evin prison. After 16 Months Of Detention, Atena Daemi Released On The Bail

HRANA News Agency – Atena Daemi, imprisoned civil rights activist, was released on the bail from Evin prison after sixteen months of detention.

Contagious Skin Disease Breaks Out In Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency – An outbreak of a contagious skin disease and negligence in ward 8 of Evin prison have caused concerns among the inmates and their families. According to one of the prisoners three people have become ill over the past week.

2 Death Row Sunni Prisoners’ Trial Session Postponed

HRANA News Agency – The trial session of Farzad Shahnazari and Teymour Naderizadeh which was supposed to be held in the Revolutionary Court on Saturday 13 February was postponed because of absence of judge Salvati. The two Sunni prisoners have already been sentenced to death by judge Moghiseh but due to abolition of the sentence by the Supreme Court the case was referred to Branch 15 for retrial.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), the Supreme Court cancelled the execution of Farzad Shahnazari and Teymour Naderizadeh in November 2015 and the case was sent to branch 15 for judicial proceedings. These two were sentenced to execution in 2013 by branch 28 of the Revolutionary Court presided by judge Moghiseh. Political Prisoners Face More Problems In Receiving Books: Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency – The officials of ward 8 in Evin prison, in a statement and by an illegal action subjected the delivery of all the books to the prisoners, to the approval of the name and author of the books by the prison authorities.
Some of the prisoners say that even with a license by the Ministry of Culture, according to the announcement, the prison decides which book could the prisoners read or not read.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), according to the new notifications and sample forms, from 13th January, prisoners must undergo a long bureaucratic process, should give the title and author’s name in the application form to the manager of ward 8 in Evin and after the agreement with the title and author of the book, they will give the permission to the prisoner to get it. The Situation In Ward 7 Of Evin Prison Remains Tense

HRANA News Agency – After clashes, insulting and beating political prisoners of ward number 7 of Evin prison, these conflicts continued by threatening the political prisoners by convicted guilty prisoners of the great embezzlement. Some of these prisoners complained against Saeid Razavi Faghih and are trying to profile him a case for the allegation of insulting the regime’s top officials.

A Group Of Erfan-e-Halgheh Activists Arrested In Tehran

HRANA News Agency – A group of supporters of Erfan-e-Halgheh, who had started hunger strike and protest in the tomb of the founder of Islamic Republic, in support of Mohammad Ali Taheri, were arrested and transferred to security police office of Shahr-e-Rey. Most of the arrestees were released on the highway, and ten people were transferred to Vozara detention centre for processing the case.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), approximately 100 supporters of Erfan-e-Halgheh, who intended to start a hunger strike in Imam Zadeh Saleh in support of Mohammad Ali Taheri and in protest to not releasing him, confronted with prevention of the security forces, so they started their protest in Khomaini’s tomb. 18 Civil Rights Activists Tried In Tehran

HRANA News Agency – 18 civil right activists were tried in branch number 1060 of criminal court of Tehran, by judge Taha Dehghani, and charged with disturbing the public order. Most of these civil rights activists were arrested in front of Evin prison in a peaceful protest, on Saturday, November 21, 2015.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Simin Ayvaz Zadeh, Reza Malek, Hashem Zaynali, Ehsan Khaybar, Adel Arouji, Mohsen Haseli, Mohsen Haseli, Mohsen Shoja, Khadijeh (Layla) Mirghaffari, Azam Najafi, Parvin Salimi, Shermin Yamani and Sarah Saei are some of the activists who have been tried and are waiting for the court verdict which is expected to be issued in few days.
