HRANA News Agency – A number of people of Ahvaz gathered in front of the Khuzestan Governor office to protest against the method of dealing with the dust wave in Khuzestan Province.

HRANA News Agency – Amir Amirgholi, former student activist, who was arrested two and half months ago and transferred to Evin prison, was arraigned.

Farah Baghi Begins Her Sentence in Yazd

HRANA News Agency – Farah Baghi, a Bahai from Yazd who has been sentenced to one year in prison and a one-year suspended sentence, has reported to prison in Yazd to begin her sentence.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), she had previously been informed that she would begin her sentence on February 13, but on February 9 security officers appeared at her door to take her to prison. “Human Rights Atlas” Published by 2 Political Prisoners

HRANA News Agency – The book “Human Rights Atlas” was published by Mehdi Khodaei and Omid Kokabi’s effort, with a foreword of Abdolfatah Soltani. This educational book is translated and compiled in Evin prison, by these prisoners.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), “Human Rights Atlas” was compiled by Seyed Mehdi Khodaei and Omid Kokabi’s cooperation, 2 famous Iranian prisoners in Evin prison, with a foreword from Abdolfatah Soltani, imprisoned human rights activist lawyer, and was published by “A’rman Shahr” publisher. Students of Tehran University Protested against the Prison-Like Situation

HRANA News Agency – Students of Tehran University attended a rally at students’ accommodation calling on the officials to address their demands.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), last Saturday, on 8th of February 2015, a large number of students at Tehran University dormitory gathered in protest against rising costs and reducing capacity of the accommodation, the time limitation of hours of silence at night for students, inappropriate Internet services, increasing the price of guests in dormitories and inappropriate behavior of dormitory’s security agents with students. Court Rejects Complaint of Several Bahai Students

HRANA News Agency – Following the announcement of results from Iran’s national secondary school graduation exam for this academic year, many Bahai youth who achieved good marks, sufficient for entry even to the best of the state-controlled universities, found they were rejected from university due to “defects in the file.”

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), some of these students filed a legal complaint, which after overcoming various obstacles was actually received and considered by a branch of the Administrative Court.
