HRANA News Agency – Sources close to the Soheila Kargar, citizen of Qazvin, reported that she was arrested. On May 15, 2016 Ms. Kargar was arrested at her home by the security forces violently. She has been able to contact his family from prison only once so far. Also the reason for her detention is not known.

An Arab Activist Arrested in Ahvaz

HRANA News Agency – Zakiyeh Hor Nisi, Arab activist and resident of Ahvaz city, was arrested by security forces of intelligence service in her house and after seizure of her personal accessories and communication devices, transferred to regional intelligence headquarters. The security forces did not show any court or arrest order.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), intelligent service forces arrested an Arab activist with the name of Zakiyeh Hor Nisi, 26, and transferred her to regional intelligence headquarters located in Amaniyeh of Ahvaz city, on May 17. HRANA News Agency – Branch number 54 of the appeal court of Tehran, reduced the primary sentence of Atena Faraghdani from 12 years and 9 months to 18 months in prison. Therefore, she will be released very soon.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), the sentence of 12 years and 9 months of the imprisoned artist, Atena Faraghdani, was dropped by branch number 54 of the appeal court of Tehran, and she was sentenced to 18 months in prison, on charge of propaganda against the regime. With the consideration of her detention time and imprisonment period, her sentence will be fully served on May 11, and she is expected to be released from Evin prison.
