HRANA News Agency â On December 19, 2016, Mehdi Kukhian and Karim Chaichian, two civilians from Malakan were arrested by security forces and taken to an unknown location. The officers searched their house and also seized their personal electronics and communication belongings.

Hassan Rastgari Majd on Hunger Strike in Urmia Prison
HRANA News Agency – Hassan Rastgari Majd, an Iranian-born Turkish citizen and political prisoner at Urmia Central Prison, has gone on hunger strike to protest against his long term imprisonment sentences and making new cases for him in the prison. Mr. Rastgari was transferred to solitary confinement by prison authorities.
