HRANA News Agency – A group of Azerbaijani civil activist, from West Azerbaijan province, had a meeting with a Member of Parliament of Iran (Majlese Shoraye Islami), and stated their objection regarding the recent detention of civil activists in their province, and against the prevention of International Mothers Language Day’s celebration.

HRANA News Agency – Three civil activists, who were arrested in Khoy on Tuesday 17th February, have been transferred from Intelligence detention center to central prison of this city.

3 Civil Rights Activists Arrested in Khoy

HRANA News Agency – Three civil activists in Khoy city were arrested on 17th February, by security forces.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), on the morning of Tuesday 17th February, security officers in the city of Khoy went to the business office of Mr. Islam Ali Akbarloo and arrested him along with Araz Khasetarash and Amin Hajilo and took them to an unknown place. A Report about Mohmmad Seddigh Kaboodvand’s Latest Status

HRANA News Agency – Mohammad Seddigh Kaboodvand, journalist and human rights activist, despite enduring seven and a half years imprisonment, has to spend 3 more years in prison. Mr. Kaboodvand is being held in prison, just because of his human rights activities.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Mohammad Seddigh Kaboodvand, founder of Kurdistan’s Human Rights Organization, was arrested on 1st July 2007 and after the trial, he was sentenced to 10 and a half years imprisonment. He has passed 7and a half years of his sentence. Mohammad Seddigh Kaboodvand has been affected by kidney infection, severe decrease in blood glucose levels and extreme physical weakness in prison, but according to what his relatives say, he is now in better physical condition. The Latest Reports about Saman Nassem’s Situation
