4 Civil Rights Activists’ Trial Postponed
HRANA News Agency – Because of the absence of two of the three judges as well as the absence of one of the defendants, the hearing of appeal court for civil activists, Atena Daemi, Omid Alishenas, Aso Rostami, Ali Nouri and Mohammad Hossein Daemi (Athena’s father) was postponed to August 3. This hearing was scheduled to be held in Branch 36 of the Appeals Court of Tehran Province on July 5.

Mohammad Hassan Youefpour Yousefi; still Suffering from Imprisonment’s Consequences
HRANA News Agency – Mohammad Hassan Youefpour Yousefi, former political prisoner of ward 350 of Evin prison, who had got many different diseases due to lack of proper medical care, despite being released from prison is still under medical treatments. In the last case, doctors confirmed the sight loss of his left eye, and advanced tuberculosis.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Mohammad Hassan Youefpour Yousefi, former announcer and producer of Iran radio, was arrested by the Revolutionary Guard’s security agency in 2011, and was sentenced to 66 months in prison by Branch 15 of the Revolutionary Court presided over by Judge Salvati, on charges of gathering and collusion through undertaking the responsibility of recruiting and introduction department of Human Rights Activists in Iran, blasphemy and propaganda against the regime. Said Jafari Summoned to the Court
HRANA News Agency – The initial sentence of 18 months imprisonment on charges of insulting the president and other officials for Said Jafari, resident of Gonbad-e-Kavus was confirmed. He was summoned to police as well as the third branch of the Public Revolutionary Court for unknown reasons.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Said Jafari, resident of Gonbad-e-Kavus had been sentenced to 2 years and 6 months imprisonment on charges of insulting the president and other officials which was confirmed by Branch 104 of the Penal Court of the city of Gonbad-e-Kavus.
