A number of civilians arrested in Mashhad

HRANA News Agency – Following the death of “Morteza Pashai”, Iranian popular singer, musician and songwriter, spontaneous gatherings were held around the nation in Iran by the fans of the deceased, and in some cases it was associated with conflict and detention of civilians by the security forces.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), following the death of Morteza Pashai, young Iranian singer, musician and composer, spontaneous gatherings by supporters of the deceased were held in cities across the country. Bahais join demonstration in support of Nasrin Sotoudeh

HRANA News Agency – On November 10, Bahai students who have been excluded from tertiary education joined the Iranian civil rights lawyer Nasrin Sotoudeh in her three-week-old demonstration in front of the Bar Association building in Tehran.

At least 20 arrested in the protest at acid attacks

HRANA News Agency – On the rally of Saturday, October 25th, in front of the judiciary office turned to violence after the riot police interfered and at least 20 people were arrested.

Dozens arrested in Tehran in a protest at acid attacks

HRANA News Agency – Dozens of people who intended to gather and protest against the recent acid attacks, were arrested and many of them were beaten by security forces.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), People who were planning to protest in front of the Interior Ministry against the recent acid attacks on women who not dressed appropriate “Hijab” were met by violent security and anti-riot police forces. “Masoumeh Zia” and “Maliheh Biganian” released from prison

HRANA News Agency – On Sunday afternoon, October 12th, “Masoumeh Zia” and “Maliheh Biganian” were released from Evin Prison on bail.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), from the four followers of the “Erfan-e-Halghe” transferred to Evin Prison, “Masoumeh Zia” and “Maliheh Biganian” were released on bail. “Narges Farhadi” who refused to provide the bail remained in prison. “Masoume Zia” transferred to IRGC Intelligence Ward at Evin

HRANA News Agency – “Masoumeh Zia” who was arrested in the gathering of “Erfan-e-Halgheh” Faith(Interuniversalism) followers, was transferred to Ward  2-A (supervised by the Army of the Guardians of the Islamic Revolution Intelligent Services) at Evin Prison.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA),Masoumeh Zia was previously arrested on the charge of participating in the Women’s gathering  at “Haft-e-Tir” Square on 12 June, 2006.  After she attended the “Erfan-e-Halgheh” faith (Interuniversalism) gathering in protest to the arrest of Mohamad Ali Taheri in front of the Islamic Revolutionary Court, she was arrested and transferred to Ward 2-A (IRGC) at Evin Prison. Four followers of “Erfan-e-Halgheh” kept under arrest

HRANA News Agency – After the mass arrests of “Erfan-e-Halgheh” followers, “Masoume Zia”, “Narges Farhadi”, “Malihe Biganian” and “Iraj Amidi” are still under arrest.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), after followers of “Erfan-e-Halgheh” faith (Interuniversalism) attended a gathering in protest to the arrest of Mohamad Ali Taheri in front of the Islamic Revolutionary Court, 70 of these followers were arrested by the security forces.  All of these citizens are now released after signing affidavits apart from Masoume Zia”, “Narges Farhadi”, “Malihe Biganian” and “Iraj Amidi”.
