Majid Sarhadi and Hamid Fathi Released on the Bail

HRANA News Agency – Majid Sarhadi and Hamid Fathi, who had been accused of collaboration with the Persian-language media abroad, were released from prison on bail after spending 5 months in solitary confinement.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Hamid Fathi, broadcasting archive department stuff  in Iran’s official Radio and TV and Majid Sarhadi, documentary filmmaker working in Dubai, who have been accused of illegally providing some of the historical and cultural archives of Iran’s official radio and television to a Persian -English media abroad, , were released temporarily from prison on the bail 0f 500 million Thomans after 5 months in solitary confinement of ward 209 and after being transferred to the quarantine Hall of ward 7. 8 Facebook Activists Sentenced to 133 Years Imprisonment

HRANA News Agency – 133 year imprisonment sentence of 8 Facebook activists was just confirmed by the Revision department of the Supreme Court.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), during the past few days, the Supreme Court confirmed the sentences for Masood Seyed Talebi, Fariborz Kardarfar, Amin Akramipoor, Amir Golestani, Masood Ghasemkhani, Mehdi Rayshahri, Roya Saberi Nezhad Nobakhti and Naghmeh Shahsavandi. Peyman Aref’s Imprisonment Sentence Confirmed by the Appeal Court

HRANA News Agency – Branch number 36 of appeal court confirms the one year imprisonment sentence of Peyman Aref.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), on the bases of the verdict of court of appeal by chief judge Zargar, which is publish by Peyman Aref in his facebook page, this branch has confirmed the sentence of branch number 28 of revolutionary court. Security Forces Prevented Erfane Halghe Followers from Peaceful Gathering

HRANA News Agency – The peaceful protest of Erfane Halgheh (Interuniversalism Mysticism) followers was stopped after Police intervened and prevented the gathering. Protestors then moved to the Iran Bar Association and joined Nasrin Sotoudeh in her strike.

Reza Boukani Summoned and Charged at the Revolutionary Court

HRANA News Agency – On 30 December 2014, Reza Boukani, former Political Prisoner was summoned and charged by Islamic Revolutionary Court. He was kept in custody for 5 hours and then was released on 70 Million Tomans bail.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), during the last week, Reza Boukani a former Political Prisoner was summoned by Branch 3 of Islamic Revolutionary Court via a phone call. After attending the court on 30 December, he was charged with “propaganda against the regime through connection with foreign media and attending illegal gatherings”. Nader Fatorehchi Faces Serious Charges due to a Facebook Post

HRANA News Agency – Nader Fatorehchi, journalist, translator and author, was summoned to the court because of Bahareh Rahnama and Peyman Ghasemkhani’s complaint and has been released on bail.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), on Wednesday 31st December, Nader Fatorehchi had a hearing in the Culture and Media branch of the Revolutionary Court in Tehran and after giving his last defense, he was released on bail until the trial. Disruption in the Gathering of Erfaneh Halgheh Followers in Tehran

HRANA News Agency – About two hundred Erfaneh Halgheh followers gathered in front of Evin Prison on Sunday, December 28th and demanded the freedom for Mohammad Ali Taheri, the founder of Erfaneh Halgheh (Interuniversalism Mysticism). The gathering was formed under tight security surveillance and was disturbed by security guards.

Civil Rights Activists Arrested in Shahriar

HRANA News Agency – A group of civil rights activists who had planned to attend the anniversary of Mostafa Karimbeigi were arrested by security officers. Nasrin Sotoudeh, Narges Mohammadi, and Reza Khandan were among those arrested.

Masoud Seyed Talebi Sentenced to another 5 Years Imprisonment

HRANA News Agency – Seyed Masoud Seyed Talebi, one of the accused people in the so-called “Facebook Activists case”, is sentenced to another 5 years imprisonment on the charge of blasphemy.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Seyed Masoud Seyed Talebi who was sentenced to 15 years imprisonment before, on Saturday 20 December has been sentenced to another 5 years imprisonment at branch 28 of Islamic Revolutionary Court on charge of blasphemy in the absence of his lawyer.
