According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Mohammad Amin Agooshi, prisoner of Zahedan Central prison, who had been on furlough, in a conversation with HRANA’s reporter, said: “After spending 7 years and 8 months of my sentence, I received a letter regarding my transfer to Tabriz prison, on 7th February, and I presented myself to Tabriz prison to serve the remaining of my sentence, on 22nd March”. Amnesty International Expresses Concern about Afshin Sohrabzadeh’s Situation
HRANA News Agency – Amnesty International in a statement called for immediate action on the situation of political prisoner, Afshin Sohrabzadeh, Kurdish prisoner exiled in Minab prison, who is suffering from severe gastritis and respiratory problems.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Amnesty International in a statement along with the request for urgent action, has announced that, Afshin Sohrabzadeh, a member of Iran’s Kurdish minority who is serving his 25 years imprisonment in exile in a remote prison, south of Hormozgan province, is in dire need of special medical treatment outside the prison. He is in a situation that his life is in danger, and being long away from a proper treatment has exacerbated this situation. HRANA News Agency – Hossein Ronaghi Maleki, Saeed Razavi Faqih, Iraj Hatami, Farid Azmodeh and Behzad Tarahomi are five political-security prisoners on hunger strike in different prisons.

Child Bride from Afghanistan Beaten by the Husband and Abandoned in the Hospital
HRANA News Agency – Sakineh Uzbek, Afghan refugee child who was thrown from the balcony of the third floor after being beaten by her husband, has been abandoned in Shariati Hospital by the law enforcement officials without treatment.

Appeals Court Upheld Sentences of 5 Civil Rights Activists
HRANA News Agency – The sentences of five Turk (Azeri) activists who had protested at the television program “Fitileh” has been confirmed by the appeals court of Ardabil province. According to the sentence each of the defendants should serve 91 days in prison.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), judge Yosef Khodadadi of Branch 1 of the Revolutionary Court in Ardebil had sentenced five of these activists on the charge of “participation in the illegal gathering and collusion to disrupt the national security against” to three months and one day.
