Maryam Naghash Zargaran’s Mother Expresses Her Concern about Her Daughter’s Situation

HRANA News Agency – Maryam (Nasim) Naghash Zargaran, Christian convert in women’s ward of Evin is on the 23rd day of her hunger strike. The prisoner’s mother has sit in front of the camera and expressed her concerns about her daughter’s situation and explained what had happened to her daughter during being arrested, interrogated and three years of imprisonment.

Maryam Naghash Zargaran on the 22nd Day of Hunger Strike

HRANA News Agency – The physical condition of Maryam Naghash Zargaran is critical on the 22nd day of hunger strike in Evin prison. Although the coroner confirmed the heart disease and sent to the prosecutor but the prosecutor told that the security authorities objected the parole.

Yekta Fahandezh Sentenced to 5 Years

HRANA News Agency – Yekta Fahandezh-Sa`adi, a Bahai from Shiraz, has been sentenced to five years in prison.

Security Forces Destroy Bahai Cemetery in Qorveh, Arresting 1 Bahai

HRANA News Agency – Law enforcement agents in Kurdistan province have demolished a Golestan Javid (a Bahai cemetery), uprooted over three hundred 20-year-old trees, destroying the buildings used for prayers and for washing the bodies before burial, and even destroying some coffins. The destruction apparently took place at 5 a.m. on July 14.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Law enforcement agents later summoned one local Bahai, Mr. Khalil Eqdameyan, to the Kurdistan Province Judiciary. A Persian source, Bazdasht, reports that when he answered the summons, he was detained for several hours and then released on bail. He had followed up the destruction of the cemetery in enquiries to the security forces, who referred him to the Department of Agricultural Development (Agricultural Jihad). Ebrahim Firuzi’s Mother Asks Authorities to Release Her Son

HRANA News Agency – The mother of Ebrahim Firuzi who is serving his imprisonment in Rajai Shahr Prison in Karaj, published a video and asked authorities to help to with Ebrahim Firuzi’s freedom.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), she referred to her blindness and physical problems, as well as Ebrahim’s situation and demanded his freedom.

Ebraim Firuzi Beaten While Being Transferred to the Court / Trial Postponed

HRANA News Agency – Ebraim Firuzi, Christian prisoner of Rajaei Shahr prison, who had previously announced that he would not attend the appeal court, was transferred to the court by the use of excessive force and was beaten by prison authorities. This is while the court session was postponed due to absence of one the judges.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Ebrahim Firuzi, Christian convert, was transferred to branch number 36 of the appeal court of Tehran province by use of excessive force and was beaten. 4 Christian Converts Began to Serve Their Sentences in Ahvaz

HRANA News Agency – Rev. Amin Khaki, Hussein Baronzadeh (Daniel), Mohammad Bahrami and Rahman (Zia), Christian converts from Ahvaz who had been arrested earlier in 2014, introduced themselves to Central Prison in Ahvaz to serve their sentences.

TV Reporters Filmed and Interviewed Death Row Sunni Prisoners

HRANA News Agency – Last week the crew of Channel One of IRIB went to the Hall of death row Sunni prisoners in Rajai Shahr prison of Karaj and after filming the hall that which had been previously cleaned, asked to have interviews with a number of prisoners who mainly have been detained since eight years ago.

Maryam Naghash Zargaran Returned to Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency – Maryam Naghash Zargaran (also known as Nasim), an imprisoned Christian convert, who had been released on medical leave, went back to Evin prison midway through her treatment as attorney general refused to extend her furlough and threatened to confiscate the bail collateral.

Maryam was granted medical leave on June 6, marking her 11th day of hunger strike. She was forced to interrupt her treatment and head back to Evin prison right after attorney general refused to extend her leave and threatened to confiscate the bail collateral of 3,500,000,000 IRR. 3 Sunni Prisoners still Kept in Solitary Confinement

HRANA News Agency – Because of protesting against the judge who had shown up in Rajai Shahr Prison, three Sunni prisoners were sentenced to seven days of solidarity confinement.
