Report on the Arrest of Three Citizens in Different Cities

HRANA – Azizollah Othmani and Yasin Dehghani, residents of Chabahar, along with Shovaneh Alizadeh, a resident of Mahabad, have been arrested and transferred to unknown locations.

According to Haal Vash, on Thursday, March 19, 2026, two residents of Chabahar were arrested by security forces and taken to an undisclosed location. The two individuals have been identified as Azizollah Othmani and Yasin Dehghani. Othmani, approximately 34 years old, son of Abdolrazzaq, is from Kuhvan in Sarbaz County and resides in Chabahar. Yasin Dehghani is from Kishkur in Sarbaz County and also resides in Chabahar.

According to the report, security forces entered the homes of these individuals and arrested them without presenting a judicial warrant, using violence, before transferring them to an unknown location.

Separately, Kurdpa reported that today a citizen from Mahabad was arrested by security forces and taken to an undisclosed location. The individual has been identified as Shovaneh Alizadeh.

As of the time of this report, no information is available regarding the reasons for these arrests, the detainees’ whereabouts, or the charges against them.

According to HRA’s annual report, at least 180 arrests were carried out without judicial warrants, and 22,062 individuals were detained in connection with freedom of thought and expression. The report also documented 689 cases of enforced disappearance or lack of information about detainees’ status, which constitutes a violation of detainees’ rights.
