Report on the Execution of Ten Prisoners in Various Prisons

HRANA- In continuation of the unprecedented surge in executions across Iran, over the past two days HRANA has documented the execution of ten more prisoners in different prisons throughout the country.

On Sunday, two prisoners were hanged in Khaf Prison, Razavi Khorasan province. HRANA has identified one of them as Farid Emami. Both individuals had previously been arrested on murder charges and later sentenced to death by the criminal court. Further details, including the identity of the other executed prisoner, are still under investigation by HRANA.

That same day, another prisoner named Mohammad Goudarzi was executed in Borujerd Prison on a murder charge.

HRANA also reported the execution of Moradbeig Turki in Kashan Prison. Mr. Turki had likewise been arrested on murder charges and sentenced to death by the criminal court.

Additionally, Nima Omidi Khas was hanged the same day in Bam Prison. Mr. Omidi Khas had previously been arrested on drug-related charges and sentenced to death by the Revolutionary Court.

On Monday, November 10, Dastgerd Prison in Isfahan witnessed the execution of two prisoners convicted on drug-related charges. HRANA has identified one of them as Saeed Shateri.

Also on Monday, an unidentified prisoner was executed in Neyshabur Prison on murder charges.
That same day, Javad Naeimi was executed in Semnan Prison; he had been convicted of murder.
Finally, on Monday, Nourkhoda Ahmadi was executed in Birjand Prison on drug-related charges.

As of the time of this report, the executions of these prisoners have not yet been announced by prison officials or judicial authorities.

Six Prisoners Executed in Ghezel Hesar Prison

HRANA – On Wednesday, October 29, at least six prisoners were executed in Ghezel Hesar Prison.

According to Hamshahri newspaper, four of the executed prisoners had been sentenced to death on murder charges.

In addition, according to reports obtained by HRANA, two other prisoners with similar charges were also executed in the same prison. HRANA has confirmed the identities of two of the executed prisoners as Zakaria Mohammad Khanlou and Javad Naeimi. These individuals had previously been tried in separate criminal cases and sentenced to death.

As of the time of this report, the executions of two of these prisoners have not been announced by prison officials or relevant authorities.

Further details, including the identities of the other four executed prisoners, are still being investigated by HRANA.

According to HRANA’s statistics, Ghezel Hesar Prison in Karaj carried out the highest number of executions among all Iranian prisons, with 150 inmates hanged. This figure has nearly doubled compared to the previous year, a deeply alarming increase that underscores the escalating use of capital punishment in Iran.

Updated Report: Number of Executions in Qom Prison Rises to Two

HRANA – At dawn on Saturday, October 18, alongside the execution of Javad Naeimi, a prisoner previously sentenced to death on espionage charges, another prisoner was also executed in Qom Prison. The latter had been sentenced to death for murder.

Earlier, the head of the Qom Judiciary and the province’s Judicial Council had announced the execution of a man convicted of “spying for Israel.” HRANA has since identified this individual as Javad Naeimi. In addition to Naeimi’s execution, another prisoner, identified as Sadegh Nik-Ravesh, was also executed that same day in Qom Prison.

According to information obtained by HRANA, Mr. Nik-Ravesh had previously been arrested on murder charges and later sentenced to death by the Criminal Court.

As of the time of this report, the execution of Sadegh Nik-Ravesh has not been officially announced by prison authorities or other responsible institutions.

From the beginning of this year until the end of September, the Islamic Republic of Iran has carried out 1,028 executions, reflecting an unprecedented surge compared to previous years.
