HRANA News Agency – Yousef Silavi has disappeared since November 8, 2009, few days after his arrival in Iran after visiting his daughters in Syria, and despite his family’s efforts there is no information about his faith. He was questioned in the Iranian embassy in Syria along with his daughter while he did not have any political activities. According to unofficial statements of the security authorities, he is a hostage in order to force his daughters Mona and Shima, who are helping in translation for Arab asylum seekers, to go back to Iran. But no security organization takes the responsibility of his arrest, neither do they issue a death certificate for him.

Mousa Soodi Moghanloo Began to Serve his Sentence in Tabriz Prison
HRANA News Agency – Mousa Soodi Moghanloo, civil rights activist from Ardebil, was transferred to Tabriz prison in order to serve his 7 months sentence, on Saturday April 23.

Ayat Mehrali Baigloo’s Family under the Pressure of Security Council of Jolfa City
HRANA News Agency – Ayat Mehrali Baigloo wrote in an open letter to President Hassan Rohani exposed the pressure on his family members which is carried out by the Security Council of Jolfa, and requested for his intervene. Another member of his family described their condition.

At Least 13 Arab Civilians Arrested in Ahwaz
HRANA News Agency – At least 13 Arab citizens have been arrested or summoned on the anniversary of protests of Arabs in Ahwaz in April 2005. The fate of some of the detainees is not known.

4 Prisoners Ended their Hunger Strike in Ardebil Prison
HRANA News Agency – By improvement in the situation and promises by the Ardebil prison authorities, four prisoners of conscience detained in this prison ended their hunger strike.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Morteza Parvin, Mustafa Parvin, Saeed Sadeghifar and Saleh Pichganloo, four Turkish activist who were on the 6th day of their hunger strike in separate calls with their families said that their condition had modestly improved and they were transferred to the general ward’s rooms and prison authorities had promised improvements in their situation so they have ended their hunger strike. IRGC Slaughtered Kubars’ Horses in Oshnavieh
HRANA News Agency – The border guards affiliated to the IRGC detained a number of Kulbars of Oshnavieh in the area and shot their horses and mules on April 11, 2016.
According to the Report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), a number of Kulbars were stopped and arrested by the border guards affiliated to the IRGC in the border region of Oshnavieh. 2 Brothers Have Been Arrested in Baneh
HRANA News Agency – Intelligent service forces raided in a house in Baneh and arrested two brothers with the names of Hossain Daneshmand (41 years old and traditional medicine vendor) and Hasan Daneshmand (43 years old and physician), both residents of Tehran. They were on a trip to spend some time in their mother’s house for the New Year, and there is no information about their faith since then.
