HRANA News Agency – Six prisoners were hanged in Shiraz and Isfahan.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), on Monday 13th April, 4 prisoners with drug-related charges were executed in Esfahan prison. HRANA News Agency – During the last two weeks, 13 prisoners who had been sentenced to death, were hanged in different cities in Iran, which has not been mentioned in any report, so far.

HRANA News Agency – 8 prisoners were executed in Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), most of these prisoners were sentenced to death with drug-related crimes and were taken to solitary confinements in ward five in Rajai Shahr prison, last Saturday. Mansoor Gholamzadeh, Reza Ghorbani, Mahmood Maleki, Ahmad Malekizadeh and Hamid Farajloo were executed and the other three prisoners have not been identified yet.
The brother of one of those executed, told HRANA’s reporter: “My brother did not deserve execution; unfortunately today his corpse was delivered to my family for burial and funeral services.”
About his brother’s alleged relationship with drugs, he said: “My brother used to be a street fighter and one time he was rotated along with several people, (for humiliation), but he never misused drugs and he was not a drug dealer and he was quiet, but in his second trial, he was sentenced to death by the judge. He was quite and was serving his imprisonment.”
Also, HRANA has got some news, which stated that several prisoners have been taken to solitary confinements for execution in Qezalhesar prison, but we have no more information yet.
HRANA News Agency – A number of families of prisoners who have been sentenced to death in Rajai Shahr prison and Qezelhesar, in Karaj, were called for their last visit with prisoners on Monday.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), these prisoners were transferred to solitary confinement since last Monday, in Karaj central prison, Rajai Shahr prison and Qezalhesar, and 8 of them were executed in Karaj central prison and the others are still waiting for execution. HRANA News Agency – At least 16 death row prisoners in central prison of Karaj and Rajaei Shahr prison are waiting for execution of their sentences.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), these prisoners have been transferred to solitary confinements of ward number 5 of Rajaei Shahr prison and central prison of Karaj yesterday.
According to the received reports, 7 prisoners from those 16 are transferred to Rajaei Shahr prison and 9 others are kept in solitary confinements. In conclusion, by the time this news is being edited, 9 death row prisoners in central prison of Karaj and more than 7 others in Rajaei Shahr prison are waiting for the execution of their sentences.
The identities of 5 prisoners who is known so far, are: Reza Ghorbani, Mahmood Maleki, Hamid Farajloo, Ahmad Malekizadeh and Mansour Gholamzadeh. However, unconfirmed reports claim that more prisoners have been transferred to Rajai Shahr prison.
As the officials announced that these prisoners are going to be executed this morning, their families gathered in front of the prosecutor’s office in Karaj on Sunday morning, but officials refused to make any comment.
These prisoners have been sentenced to death on charges related to drug trafficking.
