HRANA – Ehsan Ghadiri, a former political prisoner, has been sentenced to one year in prison by Branch 7 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court.
According to HRANA, Ehsan Ghadiri has been sentenced to imprisonment.
According to a ruling issued by Branch 7 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court on July 12, 2026, and formally served on Mr. Ghadiri yesterday, he was sentenced to one year in prison on the charge of propaganda against the regime.
The court hearing on Mr. Ghadiri’s case was held on July 11, 2026, before the same branch.
Mr. Ghadiri was violently arrested at a checkpoint in Tehran on April 2, 2026, and transferred to Greater Tehran Penitentiary. He was ultimately released on April 25, 2026, after posting bail.
Ehsan Ghadiri was previously released from Evin Prison in September 2024 after completing a one-year prison sentence.
