HRANA – Yesterday, Kaveh Othmani (Osmani), a resident of Baneh County, was arrested by agents of the Ministry of Intelligence in the county and transferred to one of the Ministry of Intelligence’s detention facilities in Sanandaj.

According to HRANA, citing Kolbar News, Kaveh Osmani has been arrested in Baneh County.

According to the report, on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, agents of the Ministry of Intelligence arrested Kaveh Othmani at his family home without presenting a judicial warrant. Following his arrest, he was transferred to one of the Ministry of Intelligence’s detention facilities in Sanandaj.

At the time of this report, no information has been obtained regarding the reasons for Othmani’s arrest or the charges brought against him.

Kaveh Othmani, 56, is a resident of Khajamir Village in Baneh County, located in Kurdistan province.
